Introducing Itch Free Zone, the Destination Where Itch Sufferers Become Informed and Empowered
June 23, 2015
San Diego, CA – Cosmederm Bioscience, Inc. today announced ItchFreeZone.com, a new resource for all things itch. ItchFreeZone is dedicated to addressing this often-debilitating condition and features insights from top itch experts, doctors and supporters.
More than 300 million people suffer from acute itch every year and more than 110 million suffer from chronic itch conditions such as atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis and diabetic itch. Yet, there is not a single online destination devoted to educating and empowering itch sufferers. ItchFreeZone aims to fill this significant unmet need. The site addresses a wide range of topics from “Itch 101” basics to conditions and symptoms to recommendations on how to manage itch. Site visitors will find information on everything from how to treat a summer bug bite to advice for reducing itch during the winter.
“When itch sufferers searched online in the past, they’d have to dig through a variety of sources to get a 360 degree view of itch,” said Sean Edwards, CEO and President, Cosmederm Bioscience, Inc. “We designed the ItchFreeZone to address this need and serve as an online education resource for anyone in search of itch-related information. Our goal for the ItchFreeZone is to empower visitors with the critical knowledge they need to help themselves, their loved ones or inform others.”
ItchFreeZone visitors can expect the site to be updated seasonally with the latest information relating to itch conditions and are encouraged to share their own experiences in the comments section of each post. Additionally, the first 75 visitors to subscribe to the ItchFreeZone newsletter will receive a free copy of the book “Living with Itch” written by renowned dermatologist and itch expert, Dr. Gil Yosipovitch.
The ItchFreeZone is online at www.ItchFreeZone.com.
